About live traffic on CMNAV sat navs

Live traffic is a complimentary extra on sat navs sold as "WITH LIVE TRAFFIC". Editions marked "NO LIVE TRAFFIC" do not use this service.
The traffic information is supplied by a third-party provider. Its servers are outside CMNAV's control, so the service cannot be guaranteed and may be interrupted from time to time.
An interruption is not a fault with your sat nav. Navigation, maps and voice guidance always work without live traffic.
Live traffic needs an internet connection, normally your phone's mobile hotspot. It works well in the UK and can be less reliable abroad.
Traffic alerts can occasionally be out of date. Always follow the road signs and the conditions in front of you.

This page says "working" but my sat nav shows no traffic

Check that the sat nav is connected to your phone's hotspot or to Wi-Fi, and that the phone has mobile data.
Close the navigation completely and open it again.
Give it a few minutes. Traffic information loads after the sat nav has found its position.
Still nothing? Email contact@cmnav.co.uk and tell us what the sat nav shows.

How this is measured

An automatic monitor asks the traffic provider's service whether it is answering, once a minute, day and night, and records every interruption. It measures the provider's service as a whole. It cannot see an individual sat nav or its internet connection.

Dates are shown as day.month.year and times in your device's time zone.
